2017 Ford Super Duty Lariat Ultimate Package

   Irritated that Ford doesn't offer package with Extended Cab... There is absolutely NOTHING about this package that says it should be crew cab only except that Ford dictates it. Almost enough to make me get a GMC! No way will I get a crew cab with an 8 ft bed!

   I've got Lariat package on my 2017 supercab build, but could not get King Ranch I wanted. #ad

   Yes, Ford is pretty "yuppie" oriented when it comes to nice... that ultimate package includes several things I ordered as options for a higher total cost than the package... and the "heated steering wheel" is not available except in the ultimate package... but the ultimate package is only available in the crew cab... not the super cab. And that has to be a very arbitrary choice by Ford because there isn't any reason that it shouldn't be available on the super cab. And maybe I wouldn't care so much except living in the mountains of PA that heated steering wheel is kinda nice.... and you can't get it as a stand alone option, only in the ultimate package. just a pet peeve of mine

   That makes sense now why I don't see it offered with the 2021 extended cab. I don't see the black appearance package either. I don't need an 8' bed either. The extra gas tank size is nice, but it is also added weight when full.

   I agree, crew cab with 8' body is too long for me...I don't need it. That's why I love my crew cab with 6'9" bed.oh if you don't go Ford go Ram, had 4 since 2012, probably better truck anyhow...
   That 7.3 engine and 10 speed is what brought me back to ford....and that's the only reason.
